Interested In Ceramics?
I am offering a 6-week ceramic intensive to a select group of passionate adults who have prior experience.
Studio Class Details.
The class will address traditional techniques of wheel throwing and hand-building. Please note, prior experience is required
The class size will be small and held in an intimate setting in the Malibu Mountains. Class sessions will occur twice a week, for 3 hours each. The time and day of week will be determined once applications are submitted.
Over the course of 12 sessions, students will hone their ceramic skills and emerge at the end with two finished works.
Tuition for the class is $600 for the 6-week course. The tuition is inclusive of everything you will need to learn and sculpt 2 final pieces, including cost of materials, personalized instruction, and kiln firing space.

Meet Your Teacher
My name is Leonard Skuro and I am an artist born and raised in Los Angeles. I was educated through our local schools and finished with a graduate degree (MFA in ceramics) in the studio arts at UCLA. I have been a working artist and teacher since 1976.
Teaching over the last 30+ years has allowed me to share my skills and passion for ceramics with the community at many local Los Angeles colleges including Pepperdine, UCLA and California State University at Northridge.
